Men’s haircut & fade in Laval

Skin fade, taper, low or mid: built by hand and blended until the lines disappear.

★★★★★5 stars on Google 4255 boul. Sainte-Rose Tuesday to Saturday

A bad fade shows for three weeks. That’s why we build it slowly here: start at the shortest guard, work up in stages, and erase every demarcation line one at a time until there’s nothing left to see.

Skin fade, taper, low, mid or high: tell us what you want, or show us a photo. Roman and Dany do this all day, in Laval-Ouest.

In three points

01

Fades, called by their real names.

Skin fade down to the scalp. A subtle taper on the temples and nape. Low fade starting near the ear, mid or high for real contrast. If you don’t know which one you want, we’ll look at your head and tell you straight. The fade that suits your buddy won’t automatically suit you.

02

We read your head before the clippers come out.

Cowlicks, hairline, a receding front, thick or fine hair, curly or straight: every one of those changes where the fade should start. Roman has been switching between scissors and clippers for 15 years. That’s the gap between a decent cut and a cut that actually sits right.

03

The finish is where it’s won or lost.

Razor around the edges, clean nape, temples matched on both sides, neck cleared with no hard line. We finish with the product that suits your hair type, and show you how to do it yourself the next morning.

The price

ServiceTimePrice
Haircut (fade included)30 min$36
Haircut / Beard (the combo)45 min$45
VIP Treatment (the full experience)≈ 1 h 15$65

The fade isn’t an upcharge. It’s part of the $36 haircut. Taxes extra.

Your visit, step by step

  1. The consult. Photo, length on top, how high you want the line. We agree before anything starts.
  2. The base. Scissors or clippers depending on the cut. The top length gets set first.
  3. The fade. Up in stages, blend, step back, check it under the light. It’s the longest part, and that’s normal.
  4. The finish. Razor on the edges, styling, back mirror. You sign off before you stand up.

Three questions we get

Which fade should I get if I have no idea?

A taper is the safe call: subtle, works anywhere, office included. A skin fade is sharper and needs a touch-up every two weeks. Bring a photo if you have one; it beats any description.

My hair is thick and curly. Does a fade still work?

Yes, but it’s built differently: curls expand, so we work higher and take more off the sides. Mention it at the start and we’ll adjust.

How long does a fade last?

Two weeks sharp, three before it really shows. Most of our regulars book the next appointment on their way out. Simplest way to stay ahead of it.
