Your kid needs a cut and you’d rather not spend twenty minutes negotiating. At Barber Town we cut every age: 12 and under is $26, or $36 if he wants the same fade you get.

Roman and Dany cut kids every week. They know when to talk, when to stay quiet, and when to let the little guy hold the clippers for two seconds so he figures out it doesn’t hurt.

In three points

01

He leaves with a real cut, not a "kid cut".

A kids’ fade is the same work as an adult one, scaled to a smaller head: skin fade, taper or low, clean edges, hairline respected. Plenty of our younger clients want exactly what their dad gets, and that’s exactly what they get.

02

Patience is part of the service.

A kid who squirms, hates the noise, or plain doesn’t want to be here: we see it weekly. Nobody gets impatient. We slow down, explain, start again. The thirty minutes are booked for that. We don’t rush him because he’s eight.

03

You stay right there, not in a waiting room down the hall.

The shop is small. You see everything. If you want to say something about the length halfway through, you’re standing there to say it. And if you want your own cut right after his, we can line the two appointments up.

The price

ServiceAgeTimePrice
Kids’ haircut12 and under30 min$26
Kids’ fade12 and under30 min$36
Adult haircut13 and up30 min$36

Taxes extra. We cut every age; it’s the kids’ rate that stops at 12. Past that, it’s the regular adult price.

His visit, step by step

  1. We ask him. Not just you. He has an opinion about his own head, and that settles most arguments.
  2. We show him the tools. Clippers in his hand, the sound, the buzz. Thirty seconds that prevent tears.
  3. The cut. Thirty minutes, breaks included if he needs them. We work while he watches or talks.
  4. The mirror. He signs off before he gets down from the chair, and leaves feeling like he picked it.

Three questions parents ask

How young will you cut?

There’s no minimum age. We cut every age, first haircut included. What stops at 12 is the kids’ rate: after that it’s the adult price, same chair, same barber.

He’s scared of the clippers. What then?

We start with scissors and save the clippers for the end, once he’s used to everything else. Some kids finish their first haircut sitting on your knee. That’s fine. It happens. Nobody here minds.

Can father and son go back to back?

Yes. Book two consecutive slots on Square, or call and we’ll line them up for you. Saturdays fill fast, so book ahead.
